How we use AI
Last updated: September 9, 2026
We are open about our method: we use AI platforms in our work. Here is exactly what that means, and what it does not.
Where AI helps. We use AI platforms to accelerate research, generate options and drafts, run quality checks, and handle light data tasks like summarizing and categorizing. This is the mechanism that lets a senior operator deliver at boutique pricing. It is leverage, not the product.
Where AI does not decide. AI does not decide what ships. It does not replace the senior judgment you hire. Nothing is published, sent, or acted on for a client without human review.
The review guarantee. A senior human, currently the founder, reviews and approves every deliverable before it reaches you. We keep the working drafts of materially AI-assisted work as an audit trail. AI tools can be confidently wrong, so facts, figures, and quotes are checked by a person before they reach you.
Your data. We use business or API tiers of our tools and turn off vendor training wherever that control exists, so client content is not used to train the vendors’ models. We do not put protected health information, or data covered by a confidentiality agreement, into a general-purpose AI tool without a signed business associate agreement, documented authorization, or an approved compliant tool. We do not sell client data.
What you own. The work we prepare for you is yours, on the terms in our agreement, whether or not AI helped produce it. We keep our own methods and templates and license you what is embedded in your deliverables.
Disclosure. We disclose the method and hold the craft. We will show you the machine in how we work, name the tools we are using when we are in the room with you, and disclose material AI assistance in deliverables. Finished work is finished by human judgment.
Images and video. We use AI tools to make and edit imagery, and it passes the same human review as everything else we ship. The line we hold is illustration versus fact. The working scenes on this site, for example, are AI-made illustrations of the kinds of business we serve; the people in them are not clients and are not real. We never present an AI-made person, event, or result as a real one, and we never use AI to materially alter a real photograph beyond ordinary editing.
Your choice. You can ask for a reduced-AI or no-AI approach at kickoff or at any point in an engagement. We will re-scope the timeline accordingly and say so plainly.
Changes. We revise this policy as our tools and practice change; the date above is the current version.
